The United Hong Kong Benefit has been postponed. Recent developments indicate that the conditions for holding this fundraiser are no longer as safe as we needed. Therefore, we will not proceed and instead push the date of the event back to a more appropriate time — which we will announce in due course.
United Hong Kong Benefit
United Hong Kong aims to revitalise Hong Kong’s standing on the world stage with socially distanced fundraising events.

United Hong Kong will be made possible through the 4 C’s” - connection, community, charity, and a can-do spirit. By coming together in these challenging times, the events will showcase the best of our city, and in turn, encourage others to support.
On the night of the event, up to 50 guests will be assigned to 13 iconic hotels across Hong Kong. Live-streamed content will be shared across the venues, and each location will also set the stage for an unforgettable evening of immersive experiences and gastronomic delights. Prior to the event, participating staff and guests will be asked to take rapid Covid-19 tests provided by Prenetics.

About Light Be
The beneficiary of the United Hong Kong Benefit is Light Be. Light Be is a young, innovative and fast growing social housing enterprise. Light Be's mission is not to only provide housing, but more importantly, to create a new housing option for a new poverty problem - capable persons in temporary hardship.
Light Be has also recently been in the press for its new project of developing a social housing village featuring young and innovative rustic lifestyle. Here are some press highlights:
With 100% of the proceeds going directly to boost Light Be’s vision of creating high-impact housing models to empower Hong Kong’s economy post Covid-19, Tatler has rallied over 20 partners to graciously offer auction lots. These exceptional lots not only fall under “priceless” categories, but also showcase each company’s profile with flair and ingenuity.
Ranging across all lifestyle pillars including performing arts, travel, food & beverage and, of course crème de la crème products that celebrate the epitome of craftsmanship and creativity, these curated auction lots mirror United Hong Kong’s sense of charity and connectedness.
Jonathan Crockett will host our silent auction and will be our esteemed auctioneer for the evening. Auction lots will soon be available for browsing.
United Hong Kong is proudly working with Prenetics, a leading global Covid-19 technology provider, to distribute around 1,200 testing kits prior to the event for all participating staff and guests. This initiative sets the stage for the new normal for events and a safer and more enjoyable environment for all. For more information on the health screening, please visit our Safety page.
